Shopping: Threadless

So, since I resigned myself to the fact that I am getting older, and the extra weight I've put on over the past few years isn't going away anytime soon, I've been endeavoring to find ways to revise my wardrobe with new clothing that is affordable, reasonably attractive, and actually fits properly (no mean feat with odd my proportions). I've had ( Read more... )

The thing that frustrates me about Threadless is that the designs sell out so quickly. Alice and TARDamask are already gone :(

They do eventually do reprints. And you can, I think, subscribe so you can find out when they offer it again. Bummer about those two shirts being gone though!

padawansguide is right about the reprints; the Alice shirt that I got was a reprint, and although TARDamask was brand new it sold out in a day, so I don't doubt there will be more before long. Also, if you use they're 'request a reprint' option, the notify you immediately once it comes back.

I saw that Tardis shirt last week and I really want it! I hadn't seen the Alice's sewing basket one though! Awesome!

And YES. Their women's sizes run very very small. I like to think I'm not ginormous, but I have to get their 2XL.

These days I mostly just buy men's medium, and they seem to work best for me.

As for other cool shirts, I religiously check teefury.com, riptapparel.com and shirt.woot.com every day, since they have a new t-shirt every day and only available for a day. They often have great stuff. :-)

People have been going crazy for that TARDIS shirt! Since I voted for it they sent me an email as soon as it went on sale, and even though I bought one the same day, by the time I got to the site the larger sizes were already close to selling out.

I will try the men's medium the next time I order, hopefully that will work better!

I've been following Teefury for a while on Twitter, but although their designs are always fun and interesting, they tend to be too busy for me, and so far I haven't seen one that I wanted to buy. I'll definitely check out the other two sites.
