I initially came across him ages ago on Artrenewal.com, but I believe I found both of these on Pinterest.

Ooh, so very pretty. I love to find 19th century French artists I've never heard of. Thanks for sharing.

And welcome back to LJ! Your awesome art finds brighten my day. :)

P.S. Yay for your Jeremy Brett Holmes mood theme! He seems to have been forgotten by fandom since this Cumberbatch stuff started, but he'll always be the Sherlock for me. ♥

Always happy to share unknown artists! Seems like there's a never-ending supply.

I've been revisiting my adolescent love of Sherlock Holmes over the summer, and Jeremy Brett was and still is a huge part of that. He was so brilliant and expressive! Perfect for a mood theme ;) I've noticed the Sherlock fandom at large has been rediscovering him lately as well. I guess with only 6 episodes of BBC Sherlock to obsess over, eventually they had to find something 'new' to watch while waiting for series 3 ;p
