I had this pre employment testing today. It was seperated into three parts. One part was about general knowledge plus history, the next about math and the last about administration. I think I did the first two parts quite well, but I sucked at the one about administration. And since this test is just for a half-time job, it's no tragedy if I should

And the test annoyed you? I'm sorry. I hope it'll be enough anyway. Maybe you did better than you thought?!

Would you like that job?
Nope, not anymore. There are too many steps to get this little job. First, the test and maybe an interview afterwards. One interesting thing to hear was that we were chosen out of 170 applicants. That's quite a bunch and being among them was a nice thing.
And even if I did better, there's still the interview, another obstacle. I don't think that I would try to impress them to get this half time job. My energy is limited, can't fight for every job with all of it.

Doesn't hurt to have options, of course, but for now, I'll focus all my wish-energy on the job with the interview last week. ;)
Good for you. They shouldn't expect too much just because of the bad job situation. Employers: Ask yourself what you can do for your employees, too! But it's a compliment, no doubt, so reason to be proud!

I would have been much prouder if they would have invited me to a job interview first. It's just pretty unusual to make such tests for a half-time job IMO. Don't know what they expect from their new employee in the end. Well, I don't think I'm going to figure it out. ;)

I want the other job, which I was talking about in my last entry about the job hunt. That would fit. I don't think is job would be the right for me.
It soooo did. I'm glad it's over. There's no need to feel sorry for me. It was a new experience and at least I noticed I'm not good at it. ;)

Well, I hope you get that other job then, it does seem great*fingers extra crossed for you* :)
Well I don't know about you, but I'm not a fan of new experiences I'm no good at :P

It depends on what sort of experiences. Since they didn't bite me or wanted a blood sample, it's fine with me. All these things I go through to get a new job.... *sighs* Otherwise I don't need new experiences. ;)
