AH HA! I have finally found this thing! Seems I don't often dig to the very bottom of my trunk in search of a pair of pearl earrings... Rather glad I did today, though, else I might never have found it.

I broke the heel off one of them. I can't tell you how, it's too embarassing.

And I've been busy. And, erm, misplacing my journal. But I've found it and I'm much better for it all now.

And I do believe absentmindedness runs in our family; just look once at our father, and you'll have all the answers.

Since I didn't extend an invitation earlier, I will now. Get your lovely little Gryffindor bottom over here anytime, it's sort of an interhouse thing we've got.

I was running over grass, trying to get to class on time, mind you!, and the heel of the left shoe just. broke off it was terrible. I had to go back to the dormitory, I just. couldn't go to class after that. I was. heartbroken.

I'm on my way then - mind if I invite Lavender?
