It's 2AM and it's thunderstorming. In the prairies! The lightning isn't consistent enough for me to try to take a picture though. It's my life goal to get a lightning bolt in a picture

It's a funny thing, but when you live in Banff people are all, "pfft, Sulphur is just a tourist attraction. If you want to climb a REAL mountain climb Cascade!" However, none of these people ever did it. Nor can they jog up Sulphur. *grins*

you jog up that thing? walking was hard enough... well it wasn't hard per se, just demanding and repetitive.

im going to do the grouse grind this summer. I'm determined now. Should be nothing after sulphur.

i still havent seen cool prarie lightening.

WOw, that's like half of sulphur mountain. I saw one bolt of lightning this afternoon. The guide didn't take us to the edge after the church thing because she was scared.

It sounds like leaving camp.
So sad. Yet a relief to get away from some particular annoying people, who you love even though they're getting annoying, and a relief to get to actually rest, and sad. :(
