lol i was trying to focus on the larger parts first. and then add in the white. i put little bit of the white on the sleeve, and it just distracts me. i need help on figuring out a better way to color in the plaid. so don't worry, it won't look so cartoony if i finish it. IFF!!!! lol
no, i'm totally going to leave the background half done :P i stopped working on the background bcuz the random floating Ruki head bothered me. so i stopped to work on his shirt. haha he looked really odd as a floating head XD
D: i hate the blood smears! they don't look real. lol so i'm taking break on those too! i only think that they hand looks good so far. for some reason the WIPs are smaller than they should be. -___- BLAH! DAMN YOU PHOTOBUCKET! lol cuz you can't flippin see the details in the hand!!
yeah, the white was just a tester. cuz i was making the brush for it. and i wanted to see if that looked ok. but i totally agree with you, it needs work. blah,...well, how did you draw the plaid??? did you draw it in a certain way?? like...did you do it area by area? or certain colors at certain times? and did that work for you??
the blood on the left side??? haha yeah, i stopped working on that, i know that i need to fix it. i just can't work on the blood for too long, otherwise i get dizzy and confused XD but yeah, i messed up on that and it needs to be darker. i also made it too orange. so i'll change that later.
lol what if i pick 5 pictures for you, and you can pick from those 5??? hahaha will you try to draw him then???
but thanks for he feedback. it's good to know that i'm not crazy :D
well... again, I was using pen, so I didn't have different colors to deal with. If I had to draw plaid now though, I would probably block out the largest sections of colors first, then go back and add the smaller stripes/whatever other details in smaller sections, which kind of looks like how you're doing it already (maybe?) hahah I don't know... it's nice with photoshop because you can just overlap colors without thinking too much about it, whereas if you're actually drawing it on paper you'd have to plan everything out to the extreme.
yeah I figured you were still working on it, which is why I wasn't sure if I should say anything or not XD
PICK OUT 5 PICTURES THEN, WOMAN! That would make my life a whole lot easier, plus then if my drawing is terrible I CAN BLAME IT ALL ON YOU FOR CHOOSING THE PICTURE.
