The only A (Harvard doesn't give A+'s) I got in a Core class (Harvard's equivalent of GEs) was in Quantitative Reasoning 22 (a logic course which I counted towards my math requirements; not my core requirements); the only A- I earned in a Core class was something in French (and I took that class P/F so all I got was a P) I couldn't count towards my core requirements either since I had already earned a citation in German.
Oh, all right, I SUPPOSE you could count the intro bio course I took as a core as well - and I got an A- in that, but even COUNTING that class (and not counting my language citation) my Core/GE grades are as follows:
A-, B+, B+, B for a nice 3.3325 GPA (in other words, my GPA was knocked all the way down from 3.79 to 3.65 thanks to Cores).
