Hey, I was doing an interest search on Botswana, saw your name, and thought I recognised it from cuyahoga and the community I moderate, rem_icons. And wow, indeed it was you. So, this is a pretty random question, I have to admit, but I was just wondering what your interest in Botswana was? Thanks, and apologies for the strange question :) -Cesca
I love Sub-Saharan Africa and have always wanted to travel to Botswana. So far I have been to Ghana, Kenya twice, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and South Africa. I find the biodiversity of wildlife and the varying environments, Okavanga Delta in the north Kalahari in the south, to de incredible.
I have visited just once, in the Christmas of 2001, but I fell completely and utterly in love. My aunt is a teacher there (although she is moving to Malawi this year) and knows the place well, so I got a different and incredible insight into the country. All the African cliches can be applied to Botswana - friendly people, incredible natural beauty, amazing wildlife, the lot. If you get the chance, you have to go - it's a fascinating place.
Hey...I'm a Jump fan and a member of the Jump Folks community. Anyways...just checking out the post I made about the Jump show @ Iota and you commented.
