Were there different levels of pants-droppage involved depending on if it was a minority or majority government? Minority=pants around the knees, majority=stepping right out of the pants, etc? :)

ha ha...no, unfortunately due to the logistics of the situation (we agreed that he'd take them off at the beginning of his bass solo, so all he really had time to do was undo them and let gravity do its work) we only really had one option. the good news is that when his band mates saw his pants come down, gary pattison used his foot to push them down all the way, although, of course, not over his shoes. and ian mckay took off his shirt. :) you would have LOVED it. of course, ian's camera was conveniently "broken".
