i'm actually not quite sure what a weevil looks like, but i'm going to assume that they look a lot like the little bugs that, unbeknownst to me, had started a colony in my bag of oatmeal, some of which i fed to ian this morning. i didn't feel like oatmeal at the time, so at THIS time i feel considerably guiltier

yeah...he got all the way to the bottom of the bowl before he noticed. it was like,
ian: [scrape, scrape] is that an insect?
lee: [flashing back to when i first moved in and chris and i got rid of the weevil flour that was in that same cupboard] oh god.
ian: nah, i think they're just dark brown grains.
lee: [faintly] no...i think it's an insect.
ian: is that another one?
lee: oh god. there's another one there, too. there must have been so many...[freaking out] ewwww...that's so disgusting, i'm so sorry...
ian: it's all right. at least they were cooked.
lee: HOW does that make it ANY better???? i'm SO sorry...[giggle giggle]...really, i feel terrible...
