That sounds like such a wonderful time, Lee! I really need to get back to BC someday - I was in my mid-teens the last time I went (with my family), and was acutely aware that I'd be having a better time older and unsupervised.

it was! it was! it was!

you should definitely go back. i guess the thing that really got me was meeting people who had gone out to visit, fell in love with the place, and stayed. it's a love at first sight kind of place.

i hope you go back, and fall in love, and...stay if you want/can?

but here i am prescribing for others what i want for myself.

I should go out there sometime. It seems most people here who've ever been to canada go to BC. They comment on how great it is and all I can say is "that's what I hear". I'm happy to have my sources confirmed again. I'm happy you had a great time, and a nice change from the rest of your summer.
