I'm at work today and this guy comes up to me and says that he needs some help. He then proceeds to tell me that he has a problem with the version on Dumb and Dumber that he purchased and that this problem is that it when he plays it there are always subtitles on the bottom of the screen and he is looking for the version without them. One of my favorite quotes on Mr. Compton's door in undergrad was (approximately) this, written on an index card. (You may not have had him. He was the department chair of chemistry while I was there.)

"I've figured it out! The amount of intelligence of the human race grows at a linear rate, but the population increases exponentially!"
