Yoochun made it official: he hated it when he didn't have Jaejoong to talk to.
Spilling out his life to Yunho or Junsu wouldn't work - it had to be Jaejoong. It had to be his arms around his waist, his nose in his neck and the shared cigarette burning in his left hand, bringing an addictive scent to the room. The soft mumbles shared before they fell asleep in each others arms, strong secure hands wrapping around each other. It wasn't an act of dominance but more an act of how much of the other could they get closer to them without hurting each other. Yoochun loved the soft, gentle beats of Jaejoong's heart against his own, synched and a rhythm that supported their conversation, harmonized speech. He couldn't let Jae go when they woke up in the morning, too in love to ever let him go.
He couldn't watch him stare lovingly at Yunho for publicity, he couldn't watch them hold hands without balling his fists. And any night that they shared their feelings against the cold winds and the shattered moonlight he wanted to tell him this. How he was so jealous of Yunjae. How he wanted him for himself. How Jaejoong's presence was heaven sent and he never wanted to leave him because he was so afraid of loosing their friendship. They were so far into the game that he didn't know how to quit, or how to change up the rules. He was a bystander watching it all.
But he couldn't tell anybody his built up feelings for the eldest member of DBSK. How when they stood together in a line he couldn't help but look over in his direction and smile a goofy smile. Whenever he tried talking to Junsu or Changmin about his jealousy towards the Yunjae couple, he always felt worse, seeing as Junsu was his best friend - he should have found it much more easier to talk to him than his crush. And Changmin was one for short talk with a couple of beers - and Yoochun spoke too much when drunk. Too much. Jaejoong was the only one he could really talk to, except the thing that he couldn't say at all.
He brought Jaejoong to his room one night. "I need a talk," Yoochun asked, digging into his pocket for a packet of cigarettes that he pulled from his pants pocket. Jaejoong nodded and smiled, following the main rapper into the room, pulling his body closer when they lied down. "What do you need to talk about, Chun-ah?" The nickname sent shivers down Yoochun's spine and he bent down to kiss him on the lips for as long as time would allow him. "Please, Jaejoong, I only want to talk to you about one thing tonight. Then you can leave me, or you can stay, I wouldn't be depressed if you didn't." Jaejoong looked up at him with those large eyes. "I've loved you since I've met you."
Jaejoong stayed that evening. And every other night.
