So there's this pack of stray dogs near my house. There's about five of them. They weren't always stray dogs but apperantly their owner moved away and left them here. I feel really bad for them. They used to be okay but now their fur is all matted and their ears are bleeding and there's always huge white ticks on them. I don't let Madison play with

CALL ANIMAL CONTROL. Those dogs will die or get seriously injured unless they're protected from the elements and from danger. Just because you like seeing them isn't a good reason to let them die.

Oh no :(. That is so sad. It is really heartbreaking when we see these dogs. Is there a Humane Society near your home? The one near my house has a no-kill policy, so they let them stay until someone adopts them.

I agree with the first commenter. These dogs are in trouble and unless you can take them in, remove the ticks, shave the hair, and take care of any infections caused by the ticks and other natural elements, THESE DOGS ARE GOING TO DIE.

Find out how to contact your local SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) or Humane Society. They will go long distances to save animals in need.
