I used to work for a consumer action group in florida and we used to get speakers from the green party. They were always informative, intelligent and not so politically motivated like the other parties. Sadly I fear votes for green party this year will turn bush into pres for another 4 years and that could mean an end to everything we hold dear.

Sadly, I am inclined to agree with you. I have no intention of keeping that clueless bastard in office any second longer then necessary. But... please keep in mind that /supporting/ the Greens is by no means a bad thing.

I can't find ytoo much info on anything Green related when it comes to Florida. Very glad to hear you at least have speakers there, the party more active than I had thought and I will have some sort of political attachments when I arrive.

excellent. I worked for a non profit group called florida consumer action network and they were pals with the sierra club. It was door to door canvassing which it turned out was not my thing.
