I am growing more and more irritated every time I hear the recording telling me to please hold and that someone will be with me "in just a moment." This occurs about every 5 to 10 seconds. As a huge Calexico fan... I recommend listening to the CD a few more times. The first time through, I just kind of shrugged. But as I listen to it more, I hear more and more of their live show in it - an aspect I thought was missing from their previous albums. Naturally, that means as I listen to it more I love it more. It's actually now my favorite, I think.

I listened to it about 10 times over the span of like...3 days. I actually started to like it less after so many listens. To be clear, though, I don't hate the album. I think it's like...a C+? Maybe just a C. There are a handful of decent tracks but so much of it just feels...muted. At first I thought maybe they were going for subtlety, but it became clear that that wasn't really the case.

I can send you the full review if you'd like, although I suspect you won't be pleased with it.

i was once on hold with jcrew for 54 minute. That didn't even include any of the conversation. I haven't ordered anything from them online in over a month...as they are bitches.
