Ganked from inzilbeth_3319--

The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So ask me something you want to know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

Ok, can you remember the best joke you ever heard?

Oh dear. I've heard a lot of good jokes in my time I'm not sure I could pick just one. That and I've also spent a lot of time on humor sites or with joke books that I'm at the stage of forgetting which jokes I've heard vs which jokes I've read. Would that make a difference? Hmm...

A lot of the jokes-I've-heard don't make a whole lot of sense out of context, but here's a funny courtesy of my husband that's (bonus!) actually LotR-related. The setup: I'm in the den, on my computer, writing fic (Greet the Dawn I do believe). Husband is in the living room, watching the RotK DVD (its his favorite of the trilogy and he needed something to occupy his time while I'm rushing to meet the Teitho deadline ( ... )

Lol! Excellent! I can see that with you both having your own universes, you and your hubby have no end of opportunities to tease each other, but at least you both understand the obsession part.

Now, Tolkien explained with Star Wars analogies; any chance you might write that one down!

Do you plan to write any more Aragorn and Arwen stories?

Well, I guess that depends on what you mean by "Aragorn and Arwen". Eventually, when it gets there, there will be significant Aragorn/Arwen scenes in EotS for when Aragorn finally makes it to Lothlórien, but beyond that? The muse has been very stingy with LotR plotbunnies as of late -- the dangers of wading in multiple fandoms.

I supposed I do have a very underdeveloped plotbunny that's coda for the end of RotK, both gap-filling all the stuff that was glossed over and then continuing on into the 4th age that Aragorn/Arwen will be the backbone of, but then at the same time, also not center stage.

Really simple: What's your favorite food & drink?

Equally simple answers. Shahi paneer and iced tea.
