Art Final Piece AS

This is my final piece last year in art. Three boxes- exactly the same size. Each with a latex mould of my hand suspended and pulled inside. Also inside each box is part of a poem which has been written on tissue paper with a metal ink quill...which tore the paper and make it fragile.

What is the title of the piece? Do you have any pictures of all three in one shot? Just tyring to visulize the set up and environment.

I never settled on a title for this set of sculptures, I mulled over a few but decided in the end to leave it untitled.

The first shot in the post is of them as a set...but I've yet to take pictures of the actual gallery setup.

I'll post a picture of the gallery display in the coming week *if I dont forget*

Hmmm...I always felt untitled left one with no reference point for interpretaion or definition. But I guess if you could read the poems that wouldn't matter. Liked the posted pics of your paintings, by the way.

Yeah the poem explains alot of things... Its quite dark and describes flesh and different skins...animal, human, fish etc. I like to give my pieces titles if they are simple, but if they are more visual and stimulating - like this one *using writing/poems/odd words etc * i feel the languge helps you find your own title. I like the veiwer to decide what they think something is about, rather than giving it a title and them not thinking as much about the purpose of it.

I have done alot of paintings in the last few years...most abstract but i started off with surreal images/ scenes...and grew out of that...Im concentrating more on sculpture at the moment...sculture being a media i never thought id get into.

OOOOOO I need to photo of my new art for yu you'll like it :D But i need my lil bro to steal me some glue gun sticks ha ha...i run out >_< 'Tis well annoying 'cos i got all the stuff done but need the glue to put it together...fuck noddles!
