(no subject)
it feels weird coming back to lj after such a lengthy hiatus. but im at work and very very bored and the prospect of journal writing seems refreshing.
so to kill some time:
[A]is for Ankle which is currently aced bandaged, swollen and very sore. Last week i fell down the stairs and partially tore a ligament in my ankle. (constitutes a roughass sprain) i refuse to stay off it so its not healing, on a lighter note ive learned to drive left-footed.
[B]is for Boys. i've spent my entire summer with boys. none of which im in any way romantically involved with. i function better hanging out with all guys tho. im happier then ever.
[C]is for Cr. i love driving. i hate my car. big red van ohhh my.
[D]is for Deck. so many of my summer nights have been spent having intense/high/hilarious conversations on my back deck with the likes of Chase, Dane, Collin, Topher, Alex, Meir, Kira,etc.
[E]is for Emily. althought she has been working constantly, having her home for summer has been wonderful.
[F]is for Field Hockey Camp. last week Me, Kira, Rachel, Jeanna, Jennie and MolRut went to Lewes Delaware for Mid-Atlantic FH camp. so many memories, so much mischeif.
[G]is for Guitar. i got one for my birthday and im in love. expression is endless. im teaching myself and making good progress. during the school year i plan to take lessons but for now im winging it. chase is learning as well, practicing with someone else is more fun. hes amazing tho and im awful. so yeah.
[H]is for Hair color. which as of last night went from brownish/goldish/auburnish to dark brownish/auburnish. its different but nice. i really needed a change. my hair-cutter person recommended me coloring my hair becuz surprisingly using level 1 or 2 color rinses makes your hair look a million times healthier.
[I]is for Inner Harbour. Went to Baltimore last week with Chase. We went to the Aquarium and walked around the Inner Harbour. rented a little boat and road up and down in the glass elevators in the Hyatt which overlooks the entire harbour. quite breathtaking.
[J]is for job. law firm jount. i hate/love mine. making money is great, but being inside from 10-3 is hard. and it can get very very boring. and honestly, when i do have work to do, its really hard stuff! not just filing and copying.
[K]is for Kira. partner in crime as always.
[L]is for license. its really changed my life. independence is grand.
[M]is for music. my taste in music has drastically changed. i really cant listen to my old favorites anymore. punk/emo/ska/etc just provokes too many memories of rod. to me Rod was part of why i loved that music so much, and it just hurts to much to try to enjoy it now.
[N]is for Nose piercing. unfortunatly it didnt go over too well with the parents and they say i cant have it until i'm 18. boo. summer goal=not gonna happen due to parental intervention.
[O]is for Open House. saturday the parents are out of town. Emily is planning something, and naturally i am too. social clash? nahh everyone is your friend when your drunk.
[P]is for Paycheck!! got my second one this morning. im in the moneyyyyyy! loaded bitches. and havent spent a cent!...i dont know why tho...what am i thinking...
[Q]is for umm quest? question? quail? query?
[R]is for rbb. still so painful. still in denial and disbelief. still constantly on my mind. always loved, never forgotten, eternally missed.
[S]is for Sailing. "family sailing trip" this weekend. 3 days on a 40 foot sailboat with mom, dad and em. omg what am i gonna do...
[T]is for Time. summer is running out! prospects of summer homework, field hockey try outs and back-to-school shopping is killing me. worst of all the guys are all leaving soon. college bound. the irony is painful. i dunno what im gonna do without them. ct,ak,cw,dn,aw,ed <3 will be so missed.
[U]is for Upperclassmen!! FINALLY! hoping junior year will be amazing. my schedule is rediculous and will be heavily edited when we go back to school. ap lang&comp ffuucckkk that! the seniors this year are gonna be great, i feel it. WJ is in for it.
[V]is for Vacation. ive only been away twice this summer. Rhode Island and Lewes and im perfectly content with that. i love here.
[W]is for Weight. summer has been brutal. gained 5-7 pounds and it feels grand. the fact is, i love eating and i hate exercising. and by exercising i mean doing any activities that involve energy exertion at all. lazy is heaven.
[X]is for um Xenon?
[Y]is for Yogurt. Ive recently been introduced to a little thing called "fruit on the bottom" theres only one other person who would understand. ct knows about the latenight munchies and yogurt.
[Z]is for Zebra. because why not?
summers been unreal. so many memories so much fun. its unfortunatly flying by, but i will certainly be making the best of the time ive got left. it hasnt been the same without rod, but living life the way he did, and keeping him in my heart and always on my mind is the way i've learned to cope. goodluck to all seniors who are off to college soon. missing everyone, love you all. until next time.
