Hi back! My emails have been too few too - you'd think with email being so easy we'd do it more, huh? How are you feeling? Sorry to see A is having supervisor problems; I hope that improves. (Or he gets another job closer to home.)
You're watching Shinkenger too? I really like it so far, after all of 2 eps that I've watched. And I recommend RPM, even more since it looks to be the last PR.
Yes, I try to catch Shinkenger on Youtube whenever I can, now that a nice user has started to put up the subbed epis. It has those Hurricanger/Ninja Storm similarities that I like - and the black-clad stagehand/servant guys crack me up every time they come running up with tea cups and towels after the Shinkenger fights ;) And I did watch the first two epis of RPM, too, and I agree that it's definitely interesting. I like that whole 'apocalyptic earth' set up. OH, and don't those boss robots in their base look totally like vintage MMPR Machine Empire bad guys????? I've never watched an epi of Go-Onger, but I think in that case it wouldn't have been necessary anyways. What makes you say it's the last PR season? That would be too bad, I think they could make a pretty good PR season out of Shinkenger...
Go-Onger is TOTALLY different from RPM in tone - it's a fun series but much more comic. (And quite funny.) You're right, the robotic baddies have some similarities to the Machine Empire.
Sally Campbell (PR producer) was quoted in a New Zealand paper as saying that as of now RPM will be the last season. There's been rumors for the last two or three years that the series will be cancelled. If RPM is fantastically popular that could change, but this probably will be the end. :(
