Both my 3-year old and my 8-month old have acquired an acute aversion to seeing me even reach for my laptop. Consequently, I barely manage to shoot off brief e-mails to family and friends, and I didn't get to send any Easter cards this ( Read more... )

Happy Easter to you too.

I hope everything works out. Good luck with selling the house and the move.

It's kind of a shame that you have to move again so soon, but if you dislike NJ so much, it's all for the better. Maryland is a nice place, and so close to DC with its museums and so on. I hope you'll be able to sell for a reasonable price.

I missed your birthday, didn't I... :(

Yeah, I've been feeling kind of like a Nomad since we've left Vegas, but hopefully the Maryland move will be the last one for a long time. And I've never been to DC, so I'm looking very forward to going there and taking the kids to the Smithsonian, etc.
Oh, and don't worry about the birthday - I nearly missed that myself this year ;)

As a Maryland native, I can confirm that it's a great place to live. Especially if you're close to the D.C. border.

You are?!? I didn't know. We are looking in the Bel Air area, so if you have any personal experiences, good or bad, about the town, I would appreciate any input.

Unfortunately, neither me nor my family have much experience with that area, since it's pretty much on the entire opposite side of Maryland from where we are. All my Dad knows is that it's apparently a bit rural out there.

It's great hearing from you and I'm glad to know you are doing alright even with the rough stuff. I wondered since you missed your birthday post from me. I know how RL can be and ya have to deal with that first and foremost.

I pray all goes well with the new job, selling the house and the move to Maryland. *Big Ol' Hug*
