Just so you all know, this is not a pedantic debate about the expression "separation of church and state" being in the First Amendment. That exact phrase was coined by Thomas Jefferson later on. It's about O'Donnell's failure to know or even understand the Constitution, let alone the First Amendment

My favorite thing about was how the audience was laughing at her, and she turned to them and beamed, obviously thinking she had scored points, thinking they were laughing with her, oh god it was priceless ignorance that I could watch over and over. Next to her, Chris Coons, who is otherwise basically just a middle manager suddenly elevated out of nowhere, looks like a FRICKEN GENIUS.
