The trend has changed from time to time nationally. Under some Presidents almost everyone calls themselves a Sister of TBS, and other times it's either Sister or Brother. TBS made the change nationally to all official documents (ritual included) so that it reads "Sister or Brother," but KKPsi never took the plunge (and I wish we hadn't either). It's why you will never hear of a 'Sister' of KKPsi - they literally don't exist, and any potentially changes were voted down at a National Convention. I think it's reflective of how it's more socially acceptable for a woman to exhibit masculine qualities than it is for a man to exhibit feminine qualities, buttttt that's just the sociologist in me I suppose. :)
