Papa John's: Econ 101 for Democrats And Complete Morons

So, right after the election, Papa John's cut back hours on a number of employees to avoid the 0care expenses.

Libtards make statements about "greed" and "I guess he's just not very smart" and "it's only a fraction of a percent of his business according to so and so."

thanks :)

i haven't studied obamacare enough to be sure of exactly what it does, but i do know the way the free-market employer-side works in situations like this.

btw, keep an eye Nevada - they're evidently piloting an insurance exchange system put in place to comply with Obamacare, and the laws are being tweaked based on their successes or failures. i don't know much about it - just caught a blurb on NPR about it this morning.

I know a GE medical worker. He used to have a "Cadillac" care plan ... works well when one of your kids is a special needs case ... then 0care passed and now he still has a decent plan but it is the HD/HSA type and runs $200 a paycheck plus what he has to add to the account and he is looking at running the account dry with needs for the son. In my workplace we were bought out and that and the 0care hit has cost some of our people 25% more. MY HD/HSA end cost has only gone up a bit, but I have a decent sized HSA already so I didn't add as much, lessening the hit to my paycheck ( ... )

Democrats And Complete Morons ... but you repeat yourself.
We see the last few days again the lack of simple decency and common sense. Hostess is belly up...and the bakers union thinks this is a victory.
The unions did the same thing to Bear Archery in the 70's, striking over idiotic reasons and causing the Gaylord Michigan plant to shut down. Gaylord never really recovered those jobs but it was still viewed by many of the union workers and the union thugs bigwigs as a strong victory. No more jobs and no dues to collect, but hey, they won!! Bear though, had survived enough to re-org and move to Florida to reopen sans union.
