Oh, I forgot to say this beta-ing, but, this line:

He can’t unsay it, though he did spend the rest of that night after going home to their old house staring at the digital clock on the top of the stove, hoping maybe this time it would start going backwards instead of just slowing down.

Is shattering, every time I read it.

I thing the changes you made to the plot in this chapter, and the build-up you gave it all through this fic, were really effective. The fight......I see it as quiet and desperate and violent. Surreal, like I'm seeing it from far away and is this really happening, but also very quick and very real. Just like the ones in high school.

They made Finn's magic-meta explicit in Saturday Night Gleever, so...I'm glad to hear it was a shattering line.

Someone pointed out for the first thirteen, a lot of the fic is how different the club is without Finn. I think this chapter, this arc, is where the changes to Finn become most apparent.
