Your Score: True Bay Area Native

You scored 17!

16-18 correct - You're a true Bay Area native - and you even got some of the EXTRA CREDIT questions! Impressive. Feel free to look down on Los Angeles with pride. (You probably already do.)

I only got 14, but that still apparently qualifies me as native -- after 7 years :)

I still don't get the first question. And I had no chance at the one with Herb Caen and three other people I'd never heard of. But the bridges, I've got down :)

It's from a long-running commercial, and the correct answer is "San Jose."

Funny, it told me at first that I got 18, and then it said I had 17. Ah, well.

I am a native, though. (The few, the proud, the natives!)

The question is, is Stephen Matthew David out of jail yet?

I scored 18...

Still, even if I'd scored 0, I'm still as native as it gets. (smile)

Funny... I scored 15 but then I could care less about the bridges as I didn't even leave the city for the first 3 years I lived here. I was told once that after 5 years here, you're a native. Of course, the person that told me that was not actually born here either , but together, I believe we can create an army of the delusional and be perfectly content.

All I know is that I moved here the summer I turned 19, and I've been living here now for almost 19 years, so as far as I'm concerned, I claim San Francisco as my home and heart forever.... or at least till I've clocked in the same amount of time elsewhere.
