on the exercise front

I had my darling girl, Maggie, come over and do my measurements again today. There's good news and there's bad news. The bad news is that I've gained 2 lbs(I didn't need any help with that measurement), but the good news is that I've lost .5 in my waist and hips.... and gained .5 in my biceps and forearms... in only 2 1/2 weeks. I'm not sure that 2lbs is enough to consider a significant change; your weight can vary that much by time of day, how hydrated you are, etc.

On the other hand muscle mass is also denser than fat.
(And so am I.)

right, but the 2 lbs puts me back up into my "absolutely unacceptable for me" weight range. pisses me off, I was hoping to never see 170 again. I'll get over it and keep plugging along regardless of what the scale says... it's a bastard.
