Ok, it's bugging me. I'm watching American Idol & Anthony says he came to America when he was 9 (or something). Where was he originally from? The slight accent throws me off. I checked idolonfox.com (so I could look up this plus the rest of the contestants' names, too), but I didn't find anything.
Constantine - Dude, he's sucked both times I've seen him. I don't like him & I don't think he sang very well at all. He was all wobbly.
Anwar - THANK YOU RANDY & SIMON. Geez, you can't get through the competition on one note. He doesn't need to stick around.
What's up with all the country songs? It's the 90s people! The prime of pop! Bring in some good songs.
Carrie - Props, girl. That's a hard song.
Bo - I don't *quite* see why a lot of people like him. Good voice & all, but I haven't seen much range from him. I'm sure Simon has told him he needs to cut his hair....& it's the truth.
Anthony - Meh. Not the worst performance of the night, but nowhere near the best, for sure. LOL, he's cute though! (Which is actually what's keeping him in the competition)
Jessica - Simon = SO RIGHT. She doesn't have that likeability. I mean, she looks like a bitch, honestly, & people don't like artists that are bitches....unless it's like rock, which she'd have to look different to be. & BAD song choice...bad bad bad! Ok, I can see why in the clip. If she smiled when she sang it would increase her likeability, for sure.
Scott - How did this guy make it through the competition this far? He's got a good voice, but even if he made it through the competition, even into the #1 spot, no one would by his albums.
Nadia - All the judges were right, she did much better. I know it was the mohawk controversy, but yes, this is a competition, looks are part of it (with the "technology of videos," look will forever be a part of music), so people have a right to kick you off because of your hair. Anyway, yes, a better performance, but I don't think she should be #1. #3, maybe.
Nikko - Talk about the underdog, lol. I've only watched 2 episodes, but I heard about what happened. Good for him, it was definitely a strong comeback. That performance was just proof he's definitely a competitor.
Vonzell - Prettiest, classiest contestant of the night. Overall it was good...but it was just a good "copy." Plus, a bit of vibrato through most of the song, which I despise.
I was gunna do another meme, but its too hard, lol. Instead I will exalt in the fact that I do not have my night class on Thursday & a take-home test on Monday. However, there's always a negative, right? The take-home test is due the next day by noon & that day I have 2 exams. So basically I will be "enjoying" my time away from class by studying. Sucky!
