I agree with you on about anything in your post (you covered pretty much everything a missed in my post;)) The scene with the 'Because we're delinquents' line- loved it!These boys has really grown up(well...in some ways anyway:D) and blossomed since ep 1.
And I also noticed the whole Shinjo and Mikoshiba; "We are NOT with the crazy people" (They did the same after the game didn't they?)
But, oh so much shipping to do so little time;) You're pretty flexible with your shipping preferences aren't you?^-^
And yes, all that crying became pretty amusing after a while^_^ I mean; I'm all for men showing their emotions but it seems like they have a very special obligatory class in that school which is probably named something like: "How-to-find-,get-in-touch-with-and-show-your-inner-emotions-and-more-sensitive-side-without-fear"
I think the subbing theme have promised to have next ep released this week actually so lets hope!

The boys have grown so much now. It's much clearer in the manga, but their maturity is, while admittedly not terribly big XD, so much more. They're greater men: it's Kawato's fault, he makes people better than they are, just by being so...idk. He's just the kind of person that you don't come across terribly often, you know??
Ahhhhh, and the shipping: My favorite pairs are any permutations of a Wakana/Aniya/Mikoshiba threesome, Shinjo/Sekikawa, and dramaverse!Hiratsuka/Imaoka. But I'm open to anything, including Sekikawa/Mikoshiba, Okada/Yufune, Hiyama/Wakana, Shinjo/Aniya... I like it all. If I was picky, after all, I'd be even more screwed for fic than I already am, and I'm the only one writing it! XD
The crying made me giggle by the end. This episode was really just so taut and gripping that the crying never seemed out of place, but I hadn't realized how many of those kind of moments there actually are XD

My favorite ship are Aniya/Shinjo, but like you I'm open to well pretty much every ship there is in this fandom-XD Both slash and het (I find Mikoshiba/Toko being pretty adorable;))
In small fandom you really can't be picky:)
I envy yours (and everyone else fanfiction writers out there) ability to write fics. I tries but...as of now I never finished one...Oh well, someday perhaps (about when an army of zombies start singing christmas carols outside my window in the middle of the summer or something like that *rolls eyes*).
Anyway I have to read the manga:D
