Peace

My auntie Lisa passed away last night.

They gave her 3 months to live last year and she lived another year and 3 months. It's a sad time for the family, but I'm happy to have known her all of my life and have such a wonderful relationship with her.

She will truly be missed.

I'm very sorry to hear of your aunt.

How are you doing?

I'm hanging in there. I'm not 100% yet, but I'm trying to get back to normal.

I have a little fluid build up (ascites) and I'm on the way to the docs office now to see what they want to do. I don't know if they'll give me diuretics or if they'll want to drain the fluid. Whatever they decide to do, I need them to do it soon. It's uncomfortable at times.

May your memories and the knowledge that she will live in your hearts forever help you through this difficult time...

I'm starting my 7th cycle of chemo next week...
To date I've had 18 treatments...
Way more intense then previous chemo...
I've gained 28 pounds because of the steriods...
And the fatigue hits me hard at times...
I know that this too shall pass...
And I am blessed that side effects are bearable...

Hang in there, grrl...
You know that He has us in His hands...
Believe...
You are healed...

*hugs*
