Norrington was sitting in the Great Hall eating his dinner in a comfortable silence. This was the first meal he had taken in the Hall all day so he hadn't had a moment to look at the Daily Prophet until then. That was until she noticed that he seems to be upset. She wonders what's wrong.
"Seat taken...?" She asks, tapping his shoulder, leaning down close to him.

He still stares off into space a bit.

"...Are you okay?" She says, worried. She's never seen him like this before.

"I'm fine, DG... I have a bit of a headache..."
He glances at his folded paper.

Norrington still wasn't particularly hungry. He could see the way that DG looked at him and he wondered if it was safe or not. He wondered if she had the ability to shatter his heart into a million pieces.

Another strand of hair falls into her eyes. She releases a puff of air, and it flies up, but then falls right back inot her face again. It makes her laugh.

He laughs at her. "Not so effective, that.." Once again he pushes the hair behind her ear.
Norrington glanced out at the student body.. none of them were really paying attention, but he and DG really need to be more careful in front of the students, even though nothing was going on between them.

She grins, leaning up off of the table, before talking down to her plate. "May I have some scrambled eggs, please?"
Scrambled eggs came up through the plate less than a second later. DG thanks the house elves below. "Want some, Jim?" She offers.

He dug his fork into his cake.

Grinning, she took a big forkful of her tart, eating it with relish and very cheekily; pretending it's the best thing she's ever eaten. She made "mmm" sounds.

He glances up.
"You know who's spellbound? Those Slytherin boys right there."
He points to a group of Slytherin boys who are looking at DG and talking amongst themselves.

She doesn't really know what to say to that.
"But it's not a bad thing, yeah..? Friends spend time with friends, right?"
