No sense in beating yourself up Kallen. You did everything that you could possibly have done.

I just feel as if I could have done more.

Instead of thinking of that, think of how many children are alive because of what you did do.

I understand we all did a lot of good, a lot of them got out with minor injuries. Still, for the few we lost, seems harsh to just think of them as a small percentage in an overall positive statistic.

I know.. it's difficult to think about the students we did lose. But we have to focus on the positive. All things considered... we came out favorably.

The students and professor that we lost should be remembered though.

I suppose, as long as they are remembered as individuals, not just as numbers which were thankfully low. They were real people with families and friends after all.

*sits next to him, she's so worried for him* Are you feeling better at all, James? Oh God, is there anything I can do to help you feel better? Do you need your pillows fluffed or anything?

I.. I brought some things for you. I know you said you were really bored so I thought I'd get you some trinkets. There are these things I'm not sure what they are exactly though... *they're nuts and bolts and one screwdriver* And then I got you this traveling book...

No, no, I'm fine dear... thank you. Dr. House has been taking good care of all of us in here.

*he chuckles and holds up the screwdriver and bolts* These are actually to screw things into the wall with.... but the book looks lovely.

Are you sure? *murmurs, brushing his hair back gently* Do you want water or anything...?

...They're not toys? Aughhhh. :|

Well water would be nice, now that you mention it... Tiana baked me the best little apple pie... Hufflepuffs are natural born chefs.

*he laughs* No.. I don't think I have any toys in my office... not sure what kind of toys muggle adults play with. Most of them would probably involve electricity and thus be useless here anyway.

I missed you. But I had never been so thankful that you were not with me.
