I have the same theory. But I never follow it. If the bus empties I get away from the person as fast as I can. I dont like strangers.

I FEEL THE SAME WAY!! I hate how awkward it is sometimes though. You can tell when some people don't want anyone sitting next to them, so they put there backpack on the other seat or something.

And I hate the smiling guy on the bus. There is always some smiling guy who is smiling about some unknown thing and it makes me uncomfortable.

sounds like busses in mexico...everyone is standing and pressed against everyone else. it sucks, especially when you have groceries. never again.
