October Fest, Octoberfest or Oktoberfest?

I've been summoned to write an article about October fest beers pro bono. While this intrigues me and I feel that there are many interesting tidbits to offer regarding such a heralded beverage, I'm reluctant to light a fire under my own ass and get crackin' at the work I will not be monetarily compensated for. i think you're right about the "k" in the word, though i'm not certain.

i dunno.
i want to know this: are they orange? can they be? should they be? why are they specifically for that season? what makes them unique and particular, rather than autumn beers or something. what's the history and what are the examples? that kind of thing.
