Bauhaus, among the post-Punk bands associated with the inception of 'Goth' musical and sartorial styles in the late 1970s in Britain did not celebrate Dracula in their first single, but the actor: 'Bela Lugosi is Dead' and, of course, undead as well.

i loathe clowns, but of course, i happen to have a friend who has a clown fetish. his store has a circus theme which wouldn't be so bad, except no matter where you stand there is a clown at your back...

The thought makes me shudder.
It's weird... as a grown woman, people dressed up as Santa, clowns, the easter bunny, or whatever, still creep me out. I don't even look at them. My mom thinks that's hillarious, or just doesn't get it... the other day there was a Santa Claus walking down the street and she says "Quick, take a picture of Santa, look, isn't that cute?" while I'm ignoring the hell out of him because I don't want him to notice me. I know I'm not 3 feet tall anymore and Santa is no longer a threat, but I'm still afraid.
