[edit] finally. livejournal seems to be working again. [/edit]

I am so lazy but I guess it's time to tell about
WGT

Unfortuenatelly I didn't get the wedding dress I had wanted to wear.
But I am hoping for next year ^^.

Friday
I took the train to Gelsenkirchen, where I met my friend anni (not anni-chan ^^) who was going to drive with her car.
To keep it short we started at 1pm and arrived in Leipzig at about 9.30.
Never ever be so stupid to not expect huge traffic the day before holidays.
It took us almost double the time that it usually would take.
We were lucky that there weren't any bands playing we wanted to see.
So when we finally arrived in Leipzig we dressed, went to the city center to get our Bändchen (ribbons?) and wanted to go to the opening event at the Völkerschlachtdenkmal.
But it rained so bad that we decided to go to the When We Were Young party right away.
Everybody agreed that this is the best party at WGT (if you don't like electro).
They played Deathrock, Batcave, Horrorpunk, 80`s and the like. I love this music.

Saturday
My friends went to visit their mum, who had her birthday.
So I had time to buy some beer, something to eat and to get dressed.
I met my friends at the Schauspielhaus (theater) where we watched Ataraxia.
The concert was interesting, but kinda weird. The singer wore animal masks most of the time and the music was a mix of circus music and what I would call french music.
Although it wasn't bad I had to fight sleep most of the time.
Later we went to Werk II to see some Deathrock bands. Frankenstein was boring, 45 Grave was nice, because they have a female singer and Frank The Baptist was good as expected.
It was really warm in the Werk II, so we went outside before the end and my friends decided to go home.
I was disappointed, because we had planned to go to Vive La Fete later. We had seen them last year and all really like them. I didn't want to go there by myself so I acompanied Meike, another friend of mine to the When We Were Young party. Again the party was really good.
And I was lucky to find my way back home all on my own XD.

Sunday
We finally went to the Heidnisches Dorf (pagan village) which was like a medieval market.
I ate Mutzbraten with Sauerkraut which is sooo tasty ^^. We got us some berry wine or elder blossom wine, what I got.
Then Faun began to play. We all love this band, which is in my opinion by far the best pagan folk band. We hadn't known they would be playing there, because it wasn't mentioned in the timetable. Although they only played for half an hour it was amazing. There was a great atmosphere right from the beginning. And they are so beautiful XD. At least the blonde woman and man. I felt so blissfull? watching and listening. www.faune.de
Afterwards I met with Nightfell at the Agra and later with Meike. My other friends then went to see Estampie and Qntal at the Schauspielhaus, but I didn't go with them, because it took 3 hours plus waiting. Instead I watched Dopestars with Meike, but wasn't impressed.
After we had watched the people at the Agra I went home once more to change my clothes.
Then I met my friends at the Moritzbastei and they told me that their concert had been great, but they wanted to change clothes, too. So I went back to Agra and watched the first songs of 69 Eyes with Meike. Then I met my friends back at the Moritzbastei, where we danced until 3 am.
There was a great DJ. I think he's from Duncker in Berlin. He played mostly 80s music, like New Model Army, Cure and even pop stuff like A-HA. When we left I met the ex girlfriend of one of my friends from school. That was funny. She talked and talked until my other friends got annoyed, because they wanted to go home. ^^

Monday
Now we had a problem. We really wanted to see Cinema Strange.
But at the same time The Deep Eynde and Zombina and the Skeletones were playing.
As Cinema Strange played at the Parkbühne, which is a bit outside and the weather wasn't looking fine we went to Werk II instead.
We watched the end of Nim Vind who were ok, nothing more. Shadow Reichenstein was loud and fast, but we knew one or two songs. Then The Deep Eynde. A great band. We knew many songs and really enjoyed it. The singer was funny and did a really good job.
We moved closer to the stage to watch Zombina. OMG she was so drunk. She tried to speak German and wasn't that bad. But because she was so drunk it was really funny.
I usually like pogo dancing, but not then. Next to us some punks started dancing and some idiot spilled wine over my t-shirt. But it seems to be alright after I washed it.
All in all Zombina was really good. And even though she was drunk she sang good.
We went to the Moritzbastei to go dancing, but it was so crowded, so hot and the music wasn't what we had expected. So we went home at 1 am.

Fortunately the way back was so much better. It took about 6 hours.

Conclusion
My 6th WGT was great as ever. I really want to go to goff partys once again.
And I really want to dress up. I want to have white 14 hole boots, plateau boots, a corsage and a white (or black) net lace skirt.
I'm so looking forward to next years WGT.

Sorry for no photos, but my camera is broken.

Anybody going to Bochum Total? Faun are going to be there!
