Agh, I so know what you mean about Up. I didn't cry in the beginning, but when Carl finally gets the house to Paradise Falls and goes through the Adventure Book I completely bawled my eyes out. He reminds me a lot of my grandfather - just like Carl fixed up the house for Ellie - my grandfather built he and my grandmother's beach house for her because she liked the water so much. Up definitely... tore at my heart-strings, as corny as that sounds.

But yeah, such an amazing movie, though. Definitely in my top three for 09', too.

And.. I am also tempted to do this now @///@'

omg that part too. shaking and crying in the movie theatre. i still kind of tear up when i see it now, so it's not as bad. that's so sweet of your grandfather though. :) he does sound like carl.

I know what you mean about Up; all it constantly did was thraten to make me cry. I'm a sap, so I started tearing up at the end when the house is exactly where Ellie always wanted it to be and Carl and Russel do go to eat ice cream... but the opening almost made me cry, too, mostly as half way through the montage, it dawned on me what was coming. ;;

And I want to see the Princess and the Frog so bad! ;; Ahh, Disney, why does England have to wait till Februaryyy. /moans

jsfaksjdf! idk. pixar is really good about writing their films. they manage to be really mature for the older audience but funny enough to cater to a younger age group. the ending was really sweet/sad/omg, i agree.

you will LOVE it! i know there's a high quality version for download, but it's so much better seeing it on a movie screen.
