Chapter 6
Wooyoung’s POV
I was walking pass the girl’s bathroom when I saw a group of girls slapping, kicking somebody in the middle of their circle. I went towards them to see what was happening and saw Kim Taeyeon getting hit and thrown eggs by these vicious girls. I went through the girls and went to help Taeyeon up.
“Hey, you okay?” I asked.
Then the girls stopped.
“What do you think you’re doing Wooyoung oppa?” one of them had said.
“What does it look like I’m doing? I’m trying to help her. What are you girls doing to her?”
“Haven’t you seen the pictures? This trash is dating our Onew oppa.”
“I told you, I’m not dating him.” Taeyeon said venomously.
“We specifically told her to stay away from him, but obviously she didn’t.”
“So what if she didn’t listen, it doesn’t mean you could just beat her up.” I was
starting to get angry with them.
“It doesn’t look like she minds anyways.” Another one says. The leader came up to me and said,
“Oppa, she’s not worth protecting. She’s a useless, ugly orphan!” she said as she pointed to Taeyeon.
“If I’m useless, then what’s the point in beating me up?” that made them all be quiet.
“Come on Taeyeon. Let’s go to the nurse.” I said.
“I can go to the nurse by myself.” She said and left.
When Taeyeon was gone, I turned to the girls.
“If I see you do that to Taeyeon one more time. You’re going to get it.” That was the last thing I said before I left to clean my shirt.
End of Wooyoung’s POV
Sunny was walking towards her class when she spotted Taeyeon entering the nurse’s office. She decided to check what had happened to her sister.
When she arrived in the nurse’s office she saw her sister being treated and was covered in egg shells.
“What happened to you Tae?”
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
“Really what happened?”
“Sun, do you have any spare clothes?”
“Tell me what happened first.” Sunny demanded.
“I’m asking you do you have any spare clothes.”
“I do, but you have to tell me what happened to you first.”
“Good, go get the clothes now. I need to take a shower.”
“Fine, don’t tell me.” Sunny mumbled. She went back to her locker to get the spare clothes. She went to the girls’ locker room and found her sister waiting for her.
“Thanks Sunny.”
“So care to explain, what happened to you.” Sunny continued to pester Taeyeon.
“It’s nothing. I’m fine and I don’t want to talk about it.”
“Fine, just tell us when you’re ready. You know you have us right?”
“Yeah, you should be getting to class by now. You’re late because of me.”
“Okay, I’ll see you in class then.” And she left to get to class.
10:30 pm
Taeyeon’s POV
I was wide awake. I wasn’t able to sleep, because of what happened today. I couldn’t believe Wooyoung did that. He was helping me even when I was cold to him. He helped me even when I didn’t want him too. I should thank him tomorrow. Since I was unable to go to sleep, I decided to thank Wooyoung by baking him some cookies.
Morning came and when everyone was done, we headed to school. I went into the class and checked if the class was empty. It was. I went towards his desk behind mine and placed the wrapped box of cookies on top and left a note of gratitude. I left the class and went to the music room and decided to stay there until the bell rang.

Wooyoung’s POV
I entered my class this morning and I saw a wrapped box on top of my table. I noticed the note settled on top of the box. I picked it up and read the contents of it.
Dear Wooyoung,
I am thankful for what you had done for me yesterday and I hope you like these cookies I had baked for you to show my sign of gratitude.
Taeyeon
I opened the box and the scent of chocolate cookies filled my nostrils. I took a cookie and took one bite, it was delicious. I decided to save the rest for later. I took out a paper and started to write.
Dear Taeyeon,
You’re welcome. The cookies are delicious and I was happy to have helped you yesterday. I don’t like seeing people getting bullied and I hope you don’t get into any more troubles.
Wooyoung
When I finished writing, I folded the paper and placed it on top of her desk.
When the bell rang I noticed Taeyeon coming in and watched as she was walking towards her desk. She saw the note, picked it up and read it. I saw her put the note inside her bag and sat down. The teacher came in and the lesson started.

Jessica had slept during her fourth period that she had to rush to get to her next period. She was opening her locker hastily and heard a muffled ‘umf’. She turned to see who it was and was shocked to see a guy on the floor holding onto his nose.
“Ah, I’m so sorry. I didn’t see you there. Are you okay?” she asked.
“Yea I’m fine. Its okay accidents happen.” The guy answered.
“Do want me to bring you to the nurse?”
“No it’s okay. I can go by myself.”
“No, I insist. I’m the one who broke your nose, so I’ll just bring you to the nurse.” She said and started to drag him to the nurse’s office.
When they reached, the office was empty. Jessica didn’t have any other choice but to get the ice pack and settle it on top of his nose.
“What’s your name?” Jessica asked.
“Oh, my name is Kim Jonghyun.”
“I’m Kim Jess-”
“Oh I know who you are. You’re in my English and music class.”
“Oh, really I never noticed you before.”
“Well, now since we’ve met I hope you’re able to notice me.” Jonghyun said and chuckled.
“Well, I got to get to class. I’m already late as it is. Bye Jonghyun.” She waved and left.

After school
Jessica’s POV
“Jessica noona!” I heard someone call me and I turned around to see Key running up to me.
“Yes, Key. What do you want?” I asked.
“Well I was wondering if you could tutor a friend of mine. In English, he’s been failing and if he doesn’t pass the next test, he’s going to be kicked out of the club.”
“Yea sure, tell him to meet me tomorrow after school at the front gate.”
“Ah, thanks noona, you’re a life saver.”
“No problem and don’t forget to tell him. Bye Key.”
“I won’t, bye noona.”
Next day, after school
I was waiting for the guy I was supposed to tutor to show up. Its been 10 minutes since I’ve been waiting.
“Um, hello. Are you my tutor?” I turned around and was shocked.
“You!”
