so there I was at work, just doing the things I normally do and Joe was giving out fancy candybars to everyone. He gives me one that is chocolate with orange pieces...and he says, "see, it has orange pieces in it. no nuts. you aren't allergic to orange pieces are you?" ...no, of course not...so I unwrap this chocolate bar quite carefully, because

well, maybe you're not allergic to almonds . . .or maybe your allergies have changed. They can change every 7 years or something like that. Might want to consider being tested again. Just a thought

yeah, I've never actually had it tested because I had enough bad reactions to figure it out on my own...I should really see exactly what it is I'm allergic too though, because there is some funky preservative or something in certain canned soups, like cream of mushroom that really bothers me...also, like you say, there may be certain things that I was allergic to, that have gone away.
