What a great story! The combination of humor and sadness worked so well, as did the time sequence in the narration. I loved the part about finding Chip, and how the last part put everything into context.

I liked the approach here a lot, with the intro and then "back that ass up" , and finally rejoining the present for an unexpected turn of events.

I think T-stations have it in for Chip!
