Music helps me work better..depending on what I am doing though! It sounds like you have found what works best for you. Do you use headphones or are you allowed to play music out loud at work?

I like the idea of a line of guitars at a funeral!

I'm the boss at the bookstore, so I can dictate my own music.

The speakers are still turned to a fairly low volume in the back office where I do my paperwork, so that you can't hear it out on the sales floor. But it works for the three-foot-radius-bubble.
