Today it snowed. I can't really explain it, but for some reason this morning's accumulation of nearly six inches didn't send me into an immediate bout of depression, and it didn't even put me in a tailspin, collecting and organizing all my mittens and hats and making sure my sets match and that there's enough pink in them to keep me satisfied. Tonight while practicing on my guitar, I broke my first string. A little scary and surprising at the same time! It just popped! Now what to do? Should I try to replace the strings on my own - I have two packages as spares - or do I go to the guitar store and ask them to do it for me?
