I Had THE most horrible night/morning

Well, actually the whole thing started already on Friday. I was having a toothache, not a bad one, but still, it ached. But since I just visited my usual dentist a month and a half ago and he said that everything looked to be ok with my teeth, I just thought it couldn't be anything serious and thus only took some painkillers and tried to forget the ( Read more... )

I'm sorry to read that you had such a shitty day! Toothaches are bloody painful! Are you still taking the antibiotics? I hope they worked and that you are doing better now?

Toothaches are the worst (well the acute kidney infection I had a few years back was even worse, but I would much rather break one of my bones again than have another toothache--really).

I'm still taking the antibiotics (four more days to go), but they are working so I'm not complaining that much. Even though they have made my life more difficult than I expected: I need to take two antibiotics and a painkiller three times a day, but one of the antibiotics is supposed to be taken to an empty stomach (2 hours before or after meal) and the other during meal, so I've had to plan my whole life taking that into account: when to eat, when not to eat, when to wake-up...

Well, at least at the moment I'm much more empathetic towards people who'll have to eat drugs their whole life, because even these ten days I need to eat the drugs is almost driving me crazy. Aww... I'm glad to know that the antibiotics are working! :) And the painkillers are usually very useful too. Sometimes the pain is just too much when you are on antibiotics. Hopefully you'll get rid of the drugs soon! :) I had this toothache once and things got even worse because it turned into an earache after a while and gah, I wanted to die :|

but now I can see that theory is something completely different from practice...

I know what you mean. I took so much shit for a while, and still do when my knee starts to hurt like fuck, that I ended up hating the meals. Always spoiled by the drugs and their awful taste.

Get well soon :)
