I would love to go back to Prague more than anything, and having Drop Dead there would be amazing...if I could ever afford it. I will be really sad if I have to miss a Drop Dead, I've been to all four :(.
To afford Drop Dead in Prague would be Great! But I know that if I am going to go to another festival in Europe aside from WGT, it would not be Drop Dead, it would be something like Trash Cave or Judgement Day or a Frech goth rock castle party.
We have so few festivals in the US to begin with, its one of those events that friends from Europe actually come for. It's always the other way around, americans going to Europe.
Drop Dead is a festival that many of us in the US can afford to go to. For many, like I, it's my chance to see friends who have moved to other places in the country and for everyone to come together.
Going to Europe for a festival is not affordable by many people in the US, some of us can barely afford Drop Dead. Europe has festivals all the time, many which are better in terms of bands and events that are more exciting than Drop Dead.
Yes I have voted for an American location, I travel to WGT in Germany each year, and like that there is something in America to go to. I have been to Prague many times, and even lived there briefly. I never saw ANY alternative type people, beautiful city, but I feel Drop Dead is really appreciated by many people in America... I Love Drop Dead, but would also find it hard to make 2 European trips a year!

Hey, I hope you don't mind. Is it ok if I add you to my friend's list. I'm not much of an LJ person but I like to use it to keep up on events and friends, although I know I should post more myself. My life is very busy that I don't find much time to post things here. Hope you and your husband are doing well. P.S. I saw your pictures in the DD magazine and I see that you also made it to DD Festival! Awesome. I unfortunately had to miss it due to my sister getting married that Saturday.
