Muhaha. I wrote something.

So... I wrote this random little thing that has nothing to do with anything. Like, it spewed out of the air and then on to paper. And it was raining that day, too... xD

Miroku sighed as he walked outside. He had been at InuYasha's house that day, and there hadn't been a cloud in sight. But just as he was walking home, the clouds rolled around and brought a summer drizzle.

This was the kind of rain that wasn't so bad to walk in, just a little annoying. Miroku really didn't mind since his house was about fifteen minuets away, and he liked walking.

Sango scrubbed her eyes as she ran down the driveway if Kuranosuke's house, not looking back to see if was going to come after her or not. She didn't care!

She didn't like how he brushed her off when his friends were around. Maybe he didn't mean to, but he hadn't even apologized! She started to slow her run to a walk and let the rain run down her cheeks to cover her tears. Problem was... She had no idea how to get home!

Miroku adjusted his bag on his shoulder and kept trekking along. Then out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of a familiar face. "Sango," he called out curiously and unsure.

Sango looked over at Miroku. She'd never forget that face, as he waved over at her. She didn't say anything, only looking more distressed.

"Sango! Remember me? Miroku?"

"Uh... Yeah, I do." She fidgeted a little.

"So... What in the world are you doing out here, walking out in the rain?"

"I could ask you the same thing," Sango pointed out, trying to avoid her reasons.

Miroku only smiled. "I was at a friend's house, and it started raining. I live close to here, but I know you don't, so... Why are you here walking in the rain?" Miroku pressed the subject a little more, though he did see the tear streaks on her cheeks, but didn't mention them.

"Well..." Sango looked away from his face. "I... don't want to talk about it..." She sighed and faced him. "You live close by, you said?"

Miroku laughed a little. "Do you want a ride home?"

Sango ducked her head and looked embarrassed. "I just need a phone. My minuets are used up for the month on my cell phone, so I can't call a cab..."

"Oh, please. I'm not letting you spend money on a cab! Geeze, what kind of guy would I be?" He extended his hand out to Sango and gave her his more charming smile. "Come, my dear. I will take you to my house, make you tea, and escort you home, all for free!" His care-free attitude lightened the mood, even the rain lifted a little.

"Umm." Sango had never been to his house, but she had only known him for about six months. "Are you sure? I don't want to be any trouble..."

"C'mon! Why would I offer if it was?" Miroku took Sango's hand and led her down the road to his house. She finally relaxed enough to walk beside him. Miroku had the urge to grope her very fine ass, but forced his hand to stay put and enjoy the walk home.

"Here we are!" Miroku announced as they came into view of a small house on the dirt road. There was an old blue car in the driveway and the sidewalk was broken. However, the garden had well kept flowers and brought a little color to the otherwise plain house. "It's not much, but it is home." He shrugged.

"Your flowers are nice," Sango commented, following close behind Miroku as he led her to the front door. She smiled.

Miroku saw her smile. "Thank you." He held the door open for her to enter first. Sango wasn't use to that kind of treatment, so she paused before she realized his gesture. They both removed their shoes and Miroku walked into the kitchen. "So. I promised some tea. I have green tea and jasmine tea. Which would you like?"

Sango blinked. "Oh. Well, I haven't had jasmine tea before, so I think I will try it."

Miroku began to boil the water in a kettle, then went back to Sango, who was looking around. "Let's sit. The water has to boil." He walked into the living room and she followed right behind him. They sat on the couch with the coffee table in front of them. "You said you have a cell phone, right?" He asked suddenly.

"Huh? Oh yeah, but I have no money on it..." She took it out of her pocket and looked at it.

Miroku held his hand out. "Can I see it?" Sango handed him the mobile device and immediately he began punching in something. Finally, he handed it back to her. "There. Now you can call me if you ever need me, okay?" He smiled again.

Sango looked at her phone curiously, and smiled back at him. "Okay."

The two sat quite comfortably silence. Miroku found himself staring at her face, wondering who or what made her cry earlier. He didn't want to make her say anything she didn't want to say, but still he wondered...

"Uh, Miroku? The water?"

"Oh!" While staring, Miroku forgot about the water and darted into the kitchen to turn the stove off.

While he was away, Sango looked up his number and smiled at it. When she heard him return, she closed her phone and put it on the coffee table.

"Here. Just give it a moment to seep." Miroku placed the cups of tea on the table as well.

"It smells nice."

"Mmm-hmm"

Sango sighed and turned a little in her seat. "Miroku... I..." She looked away, blushing. She had his attention but couldn't look him in the eyes. "I... Wanted to thank you... For saving me."

Miroku smiled. "It was no trouble. Just..." He tipped her chin up to make her look in his eyes. "Don't cry. It makes me sad to see you cry, Sango."

Sango gasped. Miroku had such an intense look on his face, and she didn't notice she was leaning in closer to him until their lips touched. She knew she should have pulled back, but she didn't want to. So, she pressed forward and kissed Miroku. And he didn't stop her.

Their kiss seemed to go on for minuets, when only a few seconds passed by. Sango pulled Miroku closer, wrapping her arms around his neck. One of his hands found a home at her hip while the other traced up her shirt to graze over her stomach. He moved so he was almost laying on top of Sango, while his tongue slipped in to mingel with hers.

Sango's mind was torn. She most certainly wanted this all to continue, but what about...?

Just as she thought it, her phone buzzed to life. Sango gasped and pulled away, startled. Miroku sat up and helped her up as well. "I thought you were out of money on your phone...?"

"Well, I have text messages..." She admitted, reaching for her phone. She was surprised to see it was from Kuranosuke, her boyfriend, who was desperately worried about her. She made a face as she read the text to herself, then quickly replied she was fine. Her attention returned to Miroku, who was quietly sipping his tea. "I'm so sorry, Miroku..."

Miroku shook his head. "It's fine. Really." He didn't look mad, but he didn't exactally look thrilled, either.

"Maybe... I should go now..." Sango sugested, looking sad.

"Huh? Oh, alright then." Miroku stood and went to put his shoes on. Sango followed. The silence between them was awkward, and Sango was feeling gulity every second. But before Miroku opened the door, he turned and hugged Sango. "I'm not mad at you. It's okay."

Somehow, Sango didn't feel reassured, and almost ran up to her house once they arrived at her door.
