The fish hat is about 1 hour from completion. The trout is done and it looks AWESOME. The hat just needs the crown finished, the tassels tied to the ear flaps, and the trout attached. Color selections met with Rob approval. Swatches completed and washed, with no appreciable felting of any of the yarns in a "normal" wash. Since I had no idea what the fiber content of any of these yarns is, I'm glad they can all be handled in the same fashion. That's two sweaters this year so far - one for each child. Next up is two UFOs - a lace tank top in maroon cotton that I had to frog and re-do, and a mitred square pullover in hand-dyed cotton chenille that's been in my basket at least 7 years.
