New knitting challenge

Okay, I lied. I *am* going to start something new. Rob's requested a "fun" fishing hat - an earflap hat with a trout affixed as a mohawk. I've gone one step further and want to do the hat itself as the river - rocks, then the water, then a "splash" where the trout is jumping out of the water
