2013 - Year in Review! Bidding everyone a very fond fandom farewell!! <3

In February of 2002, I started writing a Harry/Draco story titled, Checkmate. Then I discovered digital art and H/D fests. :D And now, many, many fics and artworks later, it's the end of 2013 and time for me to move on to other work, including original writing and art. It's been a wonderful, life-changing experience to be involved with fandom,

You always captured the essence of Harry and Draco.
It has always been a joy to experience and relish each H/D art piece
that you presented here. Your imagination and attention to every
minute detail knows no bounds. Your graciousness, time, creativity,
and effort have been greatly appreciated by so many.
You have touched so many people here with your H/D art, whether here at Lj,
or, Archive of Our Own, or your own personal website.
Your art is like a precious pebble being dropped in water, the rings and waves spread
forever, providing moving, heartwarming, emotional, tender feelings of all people.
I read this with sadness, yet I too, wish you the best and success in your new works

Thank you for the lovely image of my work rippling out - that is one of my favorite images of all! So much so, that I've used it as the foundation for the background image on my other journal and my new website. I totally believe that creative work does just that, and can in small and large ways, change the world.
