2013 - Year in Review! Bidding everyone a very fond fandom farewell!! <3

In February of 2002, I started writing a Harry/Draco story titled, Checkmate. Then I discovered digital art and H/D fests. :D And now, many, many fics and artworks later, it's the end of 2013 and time for me to move on to other work, including original writing and art. It's been a wonderful, life-changing experience to be involved with fandom,

I feel like you already announced your retirement some time ago, which was why I continued to be surprised by this year's offerings - or maybe that was just your announcement that retirement was imminent? I have greatly enjoyed all your beautiful creations, your eye for detail and emotion. Thank you for all the happiness you've brought us over the years. I'll see you over at your other LJ. :-)

Hahaha - oh yes, I did announce it some time ago. I was just this slow to finish the WIPs that I had. I really didn't think it would take me this long, but I decided to go back to school Fall 2011, and that took a lot more of my time than I expected. In any case, I have finally finished everything I'd intended to do, and I'm pretty much finished with school too, so the timing actually worked out quite well. I'll be able to go ahead with several projects now that I've had planned for a long time. :) Thanks so much, dear!! See you over on the other LJ! <333

Oh I am just not ready to deal with this news yet :( I've had this tab open for weeks trying to come up with the words to express my respect for you and all you've shared with HP fandom and I'm still lacking I know but it's been long enough and I really have to try to say something! <3

Aw, sweetie! *hugs tight* All my participation in fandom has been a blessing, and I'm very sad to leave. But it really is time for me to do other things.
