Smooch needs bladder surgery to remove those stones. I hate to put him through it but as it stands, he's at risk of a blockage, and that could be life-threatening. From doing my own research into my symptoms, whatever is wrong with me I suspect will be minor, hopefully requiring no intervention. If I let myself seriously consider the (admittedly unlikely) possibility that it's something more serious, I stop being able to function, so. *SHRUGS* Guess we'll find out.

And, yeah, I hear you. My cardiac stuff got worse over the summer and was looking worrisome, but now that I'm not being suffocated by the heat, I've been able to cut back on meds, and the more alarming symptoms have abated.
Hoping for a similarly low-impact process for you!
